This board book is built with thick, rounded-corner pages and a hard cover showing the title "Animals". Die-cut tabs shaped as animal heads protrude from the top edge of the pages, and the interior is printed in full colour with illustrations organised by theme, including farm, wild, home and countryside settings. Multiple pages include tactile patches, such as a textured patch on a rabbit's tummy, a patch on a butterfly's wings, a ribbed patch on a jellyfish's tentacles, a shiny patch on an elephant's ears and a raised patch on a cow's nose. Interactive prompts printed on the pages invite the reader to touch each textured element.
